Section 6 CCR 1007-1-5.39 - Specific Requirements for Personnel Performing Industrial Radiography5.39.1 At a job site, the following shall be supplied by the licensee or registrant: 5.39.1.1 At least one operable, calibrated survey instrument for each exposure device or radiation machine in use;5.39.1.2 A current whole body personnel dosimeter (OSL dosimeter, TLD or film badge) for each person performing radiographic operations;5.39.1.3 An operable, calibrated pocket dosimeter with a range of zero to 2 millisievert (200 milliroentgen) for each person performing radiographic operations;5.39.1.4 An operable, calibrated, alarming ratemeter for each person performing radiographic operations using a radiographic exposure device; and5.39.1.5 The appropriate barrier ropes and signs.5.39.2 Each radiographer at a job site shall have on their person a valid certification identification card issued by a certifying entity.5.39.3 Industrial radiographic operations shall not be performed if any of the items in 5.39.1 and 5.39.2 are not available at the job site or are inoperable.5.39.4 During an inspection, the Department may terminate an operation if any of the items in 5.39.1 and 5.39.2 are not available or operable, or if the required number of radiographic personnel are not present.5.39.4.1 Operations shall not be resumed until all required conditions are met.Colorado Register, Vol 37, No. 14.
