Section 1 CCR 103-1-4.50 - Disposal CriteriaSFM will review and approve all requests for vehicle disposal. One or more of the following shall be used in considering the disposal of state motor vehicles:
.1 No Longer Needed- The State no longer has a need for the vehicle..2 Minimum Replacement Criteria- State-owned vehicles will not normally be replaced until they meet the replacement criteria established by the State Fleet Management Program (considering mileage, cost, safety, and other relevant criteria)..3 Uneconomical to Repair- Vehicles that have sustained extensive damage or vehicles that require substantial mechanical repairs, may be disposed of earlier, if it can be shown that the cost of repairs would be uneconomical and the State's interests would be better served by disposing of the vehicle rather than repairing it.38 CR 19, October 10, 2015, effective 10/30/201542 CR 01, January 10, 2019, effective 2/1/2019
