For all contracts subject to M.G.L. c. 149, § 44A where the estimated construction cost for a Building Project is not less than $10,000,000, all Awarding Authorities, other than the Exempt Agencies, shall prequalify all General Contractors to submit general bids. The provisions of 810 CMR 9.00 do not apply to prequalification of General Contractors in the context of a Building Project being undertaken using a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method under M.G.L. c. 149A.
