The building official is hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of 780 CMR in accordance with M.G.L. c. 143, §§ 3 and 3A. The state inspector of the Office of Public Safety and Inspections, shall enforce 780 CMR as to any building or structure within any city or town that is owned in whole, or in part, by the Commonwealth or any departments, commissions, agencies, or authorities of the Commonwealth.
