Section 6.12 - Application for New License or Petition for Reinstatement of License after Denial, Revocation or Suspension(1) Any applicant who has been denied a license by the Commission may not file a similar application until one year after denial by the Commission, unless the Commission specifies otherwise at the time of denial.(2) A person who has had their license revoked may not petition for reinstatement or apply for a new license until one year after the revocation. If the petitioner files a petition for reinstatement after the one year period required pursuant to 523 CMR 6.14(2), and the Commission denies the request, the petitioner may not petition again for reinstatement until one year after the denial unless the Commission specifies otherwise at the time of revocation.(3) A person who has had their license suspended for a period of one year or less may not file a petition for reinstatement or an application for a new license until the period of the suspension has expired unless the Commission specifies otherwise at the time of suspension.(4) The Commission may deny a petition or application that is not filed in accordance with 523 CMR 6.00 without a hearing.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1331, eff. 1/27/2017.
