Section 50.54 - Exam-track Application Procedure(1) An applicant may become certified as a toxics use reduction planner if he or she meets the following requirements: (a) no more than two years before applying for certification, he or she completes, to the satisfaction of the educational institution presenting the program, a toxics use reduction planning program; and,(b) no more than two years before applying for certification, he or she obtains a passing score on the uniform certification examination.(2) An applicant certified pursuant to 310 CMR 50.54, who paid the application fee required by 310 CMR 50.52(3)(c), shall be considered a limited practice toxics use reduction planner and may certify toxics use reduction plans in accordance with 310 CMR 50.00 for facilities owned or operated by his or her employer. The word "employer", as it is used in 310 CMR 50.54(2), shall be defined in accordance with 310 CMR 50.55(6).(3) An applicant who becomes certified pursuant to 310 CMR 50.54, who paid the application fee required by 310 CMR 50.53(3)(a), shall be considered a general practice toxics use reduction planner and may certify toxics use reduction plans in accordance with 310 CMR 50.00 for any toxics user or other person.(4) An applicant certified pursuant to 310 CMR 50.54, who paid the application fee required by 310 CMR 50.52(3)(c), may, upon payment of $400 to the Department, certify toxics use reduction plans in accordance with 310 CMR 50.54(3).
