Section 40.0500 - Tier Classification and Response Action Deadlines

The regulations published at 310 CMR 40.0500 through 310 CMR 40.0599, cited collectively as 310 CMR 40.0500, establish requirements and procedures for Tier Classification, and deadlines for completing response actions at disposal sites. Tier Classification results are considered by the Department in determining the appropriate level of Departmental oversight for response actions conducted by RPs, PRPs and Other Persons at disposal sites.
