Section 30.1063 - Tracking Universal Waste Shipments(1) The owner or operator of a destination facility shall keep a record of each shipment of universal waste received at the facility. The record shall take the form of a log, invoice, manifest, bill of lading, or other shipping document. The record for each shipment of universal waste received shall include the following information:(a) The name and address of the universal waste handler, destination facility, or foreign shipper from whom the universal waste was received;(b) The quantity of each type of universal waste received; and(c) The date of receipt of the shipment of universal waste.(2) The owner or operator of a destination facility shall retain the records described in 310 CMR 30.1063(1) for at least three years from the date of receipt of a shipment of universal waste. This period shall be automatically extended for the duration of any enforcement action. All recordkeeping shall be in compliance with 310 CMR 30.007.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1522, eff. 5/24/2024.
