Section 16.16 - Requests for Technical Assistance from the Department(1)Technical Assistance. The board of health may request advice, guidance, or technical assistance from the Department to assist in the review of the information contained within the application or the Report. Any request for technical assistance shall be in writing. The technical assistance from the Department shall stop on the date of the first scheduled public hearing, except where it will serve to clarify information contained within the Department Report.(2)Informal Arrangements. After a request for technical assistance, the Department and the board of health may enter into informal arrangements to facilitate the review of the application, provided that the applicant is informed of any such arrangement.
