Section 155.07 - Examinations of Risk-bearing Provider Organizations(1) The Commissioner may examine the affairs of a Risk-bearing Provider Organization regarding its arrangement to manage the treatment of a group of patients and bear Downside Risk according to the terms of an Alternative Payment Contract when the Commissioner deems prudent, but not less frequently than once every three years for those with Risk Certificates.(2) The charge for each examination shall be borne by the Risk-bearing Provider Organization as set forth in M.G.L. c. 175, § 4.(3) The examination shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures set forth in M.G.L. c. 175, § 4 and c. 176T, § 4.Adopted by Mass Register Issue 1268, eff. 8/29/2014.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1323, eff. 10/7/2016.
