Assistance may be in the form of a payment to the individual or to an entity on behalf of the individual to whom the award is granted and may be available for financial hardships to provide food for the family, to assist in meeting housing expenses, internment costs and travel expenses or other expenses related to hardship due to illness or unforeseen tragedy.
