Section 458.419 - Non-Medical Leave of Absence (NMLOA): Introduction(A) MassHealth will pay the medical respite provider to reserve a bed for a member when the member is temporarily absent from the facility for nonmedical reasons subject to the requirements set forth in 130 CMR 458.419 through 130 CMR 458.420.(B) For the purpose of NMLOA, a day is defined as a continuous 24-hour period. Absences from the medical respite of less than 24 hours do not constitute a day of absence.Adopted by Mass Register Issue 1538, eff. 1/3/2025.
