Section 438.423 - Providing Continuous Skilled Nursing Agency Services out of State

The MassHealth agency does not reimburse CSN agencies to provide CSN agency services outside Massachusetts unless all of the following conditions are met:

(A) The CSN agency has a current prior authorization to provide CSN agency services as described in 130 CMR 438.411; and

(B) For CSN services, the CSN agency nurse who will be providing the services has an active nursing license in the state where the member is present or that the member plans to travel to.
