Section 1.700 - Time Limits for Making a Decision(1) The hearing officer must make a final decision within 30 days of the date of request for a hearing when the issue under appeal is: (a) the denial of the right to apply or reapply for assistance;(b) the denial of an application for assistance;(c) the failure to act on an application in a timely manner.(2) The hearing officer must make a decision within 60 days of the date of request for a hearing for all other appeals.(3) These time limits may be extended for good cause.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1328, eff. 12/16/2016.
