Section 23.02 - Duration of Services(1) The Department only provides services to young adults up to 22 years of age. The Department may continue services to young adults until 23 years of age if the individual demonstrates that without the provided services the individual will not complete an Associate's or higher degree program.(2) To the extent that another state agency, including but not limited to, the Department of Mental Health (DMH) or the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), is primarily responsible for such person, the Department may terminate services prior to the young adult's 22nd birthday.Adopted by Mass Register Issue 1399, eff. 9/6/2019.
