Section 706.500 - Lost and Stolen Checks(A) When a client reports that a check is lost or has not been received, the worker must determine:(1) the address to which the check was mailed; and(2) whether or not the check has been returned to the Department.(B) If the client has reason to believe that the check has been stolen, he or she must report the theft to the police.(C) The client may request a replacement check when:(1) a check has been returned to the Department; or(2) a check has not been returned to the Department; and (a) four days (including the check date) have elapsed; and(b) he or she signs a form prescribed by the Department.
