Each in mate shall be supplied with a clean, comfortable fire-retardant mattress in good condition. Mattresses which produce toxic gases whenignited are prohibited. Each mattress shall be renovated or replaced when soiled or when otherwise necessary. Each mattress pad shall be cleaned at least every three months, or more often if needed.
