Section 430.333 - Therapeutic DietsAll camps which serve meals and accept campers who are on medically prescribed diets, including but not limited to weight reduction camps, shall provide food which adequately meets the requirements of such diets. All therapeutic diets shall:
(A) Be prescribed, dated (no earlier than two months before arrival at camp) and signed by a licensed physician;(B) Be precise as to specific dietary requirements or limitations;(C) Be planned, prepared and served with the consultation from a qualified dietitian; and(D) Meet, if possible, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans - Nutritional Goals for Age/Sex Groups Based on Dietary Reference Intakes and Dietary Guidelines, of the Federal Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1361, eff. 3/23/2018.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1516, eff. 3/1/2024.
