Section 904.05 - Compliance Hearing - Evidence(1) The hearing officer shall not be bound by the rules of evidence observed by courts. The hearing officer may admit and give probative effect only to evidence on which reasonable persons are accustomed to rely in the conduct of serious affairs.(2) The hearing officer may take administrative notice of matters which could be judicially noticed by courts, and of technical or general facts within the specialized knowledge of the Department of Correction.
