Section 217.303 - [Effective 1/1/2025] [Effective until 12/31/2029] ProhibitionsExcept for the takings described in § 217.302 and authorized by LOA issued under § 217.306 or § 217.307, it is unlawful for any person to do any of the following in connection with the activities described in this subpart:
(a) Violate, or fail to comply with, the terms, conditions, and requirements of this subpart or LOA issued under § 217.306 or § 217.307;(b) Take any marine mammal not specified in § 217.302(d);(c) Take any marine mammal specified in the LOA in any manner other than as specified in the LOA; or(d) Take any marine mammal specified in § 217.302(d), after NMFS determines such taking results in more than a negligible impact on the species or stocks of such marine mammals. 89 FR 78050 , 1/1/2025through 12/31/2029
