Section 164.018-7 - Approval procedures(a) An application for approval of retroreflective material must be submitted to the Commandant (CG-ENG) according to § 159.005-1 of this subchapter.(b) Each application for approval must contain-(1) The name and address of the applicant;(2) Plans or specifications of the material;(3) A detailed description of the quality control procedures used in manufacturing the material; and(4) A test report containing observations and results of approval testing conducted.(c) The Commandant advises the applicant whether the retroreflective material is approved.
