Section 42.13-35 - Mark of assigning authority(a) The mark of the assigning authority by whom the load lines are assigned may be indicated alongside the load line ring above the horizontal line which passes through the center of the ring, or above and below it. This mark shall consist of not more than four initials to identify the assigning authority's name, each measuring approximately 41/2 inches in height and 3 inches in width.CGFR 68-60, 33 FR 10060, July 12, 1968
