Section 102-40.40 - What are our responsibilities concerning personal property requiring special handling?You are responsible for-
(a) Identifying and accounting for property with special handling requirements;(b) Complying with applicable Federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning the handling, storage, labeling, use, and final disposition of such property;(c) Ensuring adequate storage and safeguarding of such property, e.g., secured or limited access storage areas, warning signs, and protective clothing and equipment; and(d) Transporting materials requiring special handling in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT), EPA, state and local regulations.
