Section 97.315 - Requirements for authorized approval organizationsApproved organizations will enter into a written agreement with the Coast Guard that specifies-
(a) The period the authorization is valid;(b) Which duties and responsibilities the organization may perform and what approval letters it may issue on behalf of the U.S.;(c) Reports and information the organization must send to the Commandant;(d) Actions the organization must take to renew the agreement when it expires; and(e) Actions the organization must take if the Commandant revokes authorization pursuant to 33 CFR 97.320 .
