Section 1032.400 - [Effective 1/1/2026] GeneralInvestment advisers are subject to the recordkeeping requirements set forth and cross referenced in this subpart. Investment advisers should also refer to subpart D of part 1010 of this chapter for recordkeeping requirements contained in that subpart which apply to investment advisers. The investment adviser may deem the requirements in this subpart satisfied for any:
(i) mutual fund (as defined in 31 CFR 1010.100(gg) ),(ii) collective investment fund that is subject to the requirements of 12 CFR 9.18 (or other applicable law that incorporates the requirements of 12 CFR 9.18 ), or(iii) any other investment adviser (as defined in 31 CFR 1010.100(nnn) ), provided that such mutual fund, collective investment fund, or other investment adviser is advised by the investment adviser and subject to recordkeeping requirements under this chapter.
