Section 683.250 - What other activities are prohibited under title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act?(a) WIOA title I funds must not be spent on:(1) The wages of incumbent employees during their participation in economic development activities provided through a statewide workforce development system.(2) Public service employment, except as specifically authorized under title I of WIOA.(3) Expenses prohibited under any other Federal, State or local law or regulation.(4) Subawards or contracts with parties that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in Federal programs or activities.(5) Contracts with persons falsely labeling products made in America.(b) WIOA formula funds available to States and local areas under title I, subtitle B must not be used for foreign travel.
