Section 30958 - Visit SearchesEmployees, guests and volunteers who come on to the grounds of an institution or camp or enter the facility for the purposes of visiting a ward may be searched for contraband as a condition of entrance or visitation to the facility.
(a) A search may be conducted when there is reasonable cause to believe the behavior or action of a visitor may post a threat or danger to the security of the facility.(b) A notice, printed in both English and Spanish, which informs all visitors they are subject to search shall be posted in a conspicuous place at both entrance and departure points to the facility.
