The Board may refer to parole any ward for investigation of placement out of state in accordance with interstate compacts for juveniles and adults.
(a) Wards whose legal residence is outside of California shall meet the same criteria for referral to parole as resident wards.(b) A court order committing a ward to the Youth Authority for return to his state of residence will be considered, however, the Board is not bound by such court order.(c) Wards whose residence is in California may be referred to parole for placement in another state.Cal.
