Section 8480 - Surface and Underground Dumping Locations(a) A berm, bumper block, safety hook or similar means, shall be provided to prevent overtravel and overturning of haulage equipment at dumping locations.(b) Dump track areas shall be maintained reasonably level and properly ballasted or the ties planked over to prevent employees from tripping.(c) Standard walkways with railings in accordance with Section 1620 of the Construction Safety Orders shall be provided on elevated trestles and at all dump locations.Cal.
