Section 6304 - Mobile Yarders and Loaders(a) All mobile yarders and loaders shall be designed and constructed to withstand the expected strains imposed on them when they are in operation.(b) Conversion of cranes, shovels, etc., into yarders or loaders shall be made in conformity with these Orders.(c) Necessary guylines and/or outriggers shall be provided and used to effectively prevent masts, booms, A-frames, etc., from tipping or overturning.(d) The manufacturer's recommendation for line sizes, rigging and guying, if in compliance with the applicable safety orders, shall be followed, and the rated capacity of the machine shall not be exceeded.Cal.
