Section 9518 - Social Content Standards for All Instructional Materials Adoptions

The social content standards in the publication entitled Standards for Evaluating Instructional Materials for Social Content, 2013 Edition, approved by the SBE on May 8, 2013, and maintained on the CDE Web site at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/cr/cf/lc.asp, are incorporated in this section by reference and apply to all SBE adoptions of instructional materials in all subjects.

1. New section adopted by the Department of Education on 12-5-94. New section submitted to OAL for printing only on 12-6-94, effective 12-30-94. Exempt from Chapter 3.5 of the Government Code pursuant to Education Code section 60004 (Register 95, No. 3).
