Section 18838 - Payments from the Fund(a) The superintendent shall conduct such investigation and verification as deemed necessary to establish the validity of an application for payment or to deny an application.(b) Any payment from the fund shall be for the entire amount of unused prepaid tuition as determined by the superintendent, minus any actual or forthcoming refund from any other source.Cal.
