Section 18460 - Public Hearings(a) The State Board of Education (SBE) may hold a public hearing regarding any matter pending before it after giving the notice required for meetings by the Government Code.(b) The SBE may direct that a public hearing be held before staff of the California Department of Education, an advisory commission to the SBE, or a standing or ad hoc committee of the SBE regarding any matter which is or is likely to be pending before the SBE.Cal.
