Section 17708 - Nutrition(a) Each contractor shall include in its program a nutrition component that ensures that the children have nutritious meals and snacks during the time in which they are in the program.(b) The meals and snacks shall be culturally and developmentally appropriate for the children being served and shall meet the nutritional requirements specified by the federal Child Care Food or the National School Lunch program.Cal.
