Section 15564 - Reimbursement Procedure(a) Eligible child nutrition entities may submit claims to the Department for reimbursement of each lunch and breakfast served to pupils provided such lunch and/or breakfast qualifies for reimbursement pursuant to Section 15562. Claims are to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of Section 15556.(b) Claims shall be computed by utilizing the lesser of the following:(1) Multiplying the total number of meals served to students in each reimbursement category by the current meal reimbursement rate, or(2) Actual cash expenditures for food, labor, and other expenses of the food service program.(c) Reimbursement claims shall be submitted on forms provided by the Department.Cal.
