Section 13027 - Establishing Professional Development Centers and ProgramsEducational agencies applying for funds under provisions contained in Education Code Sections 44635 and 44638 shall provide assurances that:
(a) Professional development and program improvement centers will be established to strengthen the instructional techniques of classroom teachers and other instructional personnel in kindergarten and grades one through six to improve the educational achievement of pupils in reading and mathematics.(b) Joint programs shall be designed to strengthen the instructional techniques of classroom teachers and other instructional personnel in kindergarten and grades one through eight to improve the achievement of pupils in reading and mathematics.Cal.
