Section 2808 - Whole Grains(a) Whole grains are the feed grade seed of a plant which have not been processed (heated, steamed, rolled, crimped, ground, etc.) or mixed with another type of grain.(b) Whole grains shall not contain more than five (5.0) percent foreign material. Foreign material includes all matter except the cultivated grain or seed.(c) Whole grains shall be named using the common name of the species, including but not limited to corn, barley, grain sorghum, rye, wheat, oats, triticale, brown rice, rice, milo.Cal.
