Section 4517.4 - Gas Piping/Tubing - Concealed Areas(a) Steel or copper tubing shall not be run inside walls, floors, ceilings or partitions. Where steel or copper tubing passes through walls, floors, ceilings, partitions or similar installations, such tubing shall be protected by the use of weather-resistant grommets that shall snugly fit both the tubing and the hole through which the tubing passes.(b) Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) shall be installed in accordance with its listing and labeling.Cal.
