"Senior resident" or "senior level resident" means a physician, licensed in the State of California, who has completed at least three (3) years of the residency or is in their last year of residency training and has the capability of initiating treatment and who is in training as a member of the residency program as defined in Section 100135.09 of this Chapter, at the designated trauma center.
