(a) To be eligible to enter an Advanced EMT training program, an individual shall meet the following requirements: (1) Possess a high school diploma or general education equivalent; and(2) Possess a current EMT certificate in the State of California; and(3) Possess a current Basic Life Support (CPR) card according to the American Heart Association 2005 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care at the healthcare provider level.Cal.
