Section 96051.33 - Communications After Appeal Has Been Filed
(a) Other communications, including, but not limited to, requests for consolidation of appeals, questions about the hearing schedule or process, and all documents and proposed exhibits, shall be made as follows:
(1) For appeals before the Department's hearing officer, communications shall be made via mail or email as specified in section 96051.32(a).
(2) For appeals before an administrative law judge employed by the California Office of Administrative Hearings pursuant to section 96051.35, communications shall be made directly to the administrative law judge serving as hearing officer as directed by their office once an Office of Administrative Hearings case number has been assigned. Prior to a case number being assigned by the Office of Administrative Hearings, other communications shall be made via mail or email as specified in section 96051.32(a).
