Section 88005 - License Required(a) In addition to 80005, the following shall apply: (1) No individual, organization or governmental entity shall engage in recruiting and certifying homes for placement of children for temporary or permanent care without first obtaining a license from the licensing agency. (A) A public foster family agency shall be designated by the appropriate governing body as a public foster family agency.(B) A private foster family agency shall be a corporation organized and operated on a nonprofit basis.Cal.
