Section 76505 - Client Transfer Procedures(a) The licensee shall maintain written transfer agreements with other nearby health facilities to make the services of the other facilities more readily accessible and to facilitate the easy transfer of clients and essential client information along with the client.(b) When a client is transferred to another facility, there shall be: (1) Written evidence of the reason or the transfer; and(2) Prior informed and written consent of the client, parent of a minor or authorized representative except in an emergency.(c) At the time of transfer, a written summary of findings, progress and plans shall be recorded and a copy shall accompany the client.Cal.
