Section 75034 - Drug Distribution Service-Orders for Drugs(a) No drugs shall be administered except on the written order of a person lawfully authorized to give such order, except in accordance with subsection 75034(c).(b) Orders for drug administration shall be entered into the patient's health record and be signed by the prescriber and shall include the drug name, dosage, time or frequency of administration, and if other than oral, the route of administration.(c) Telephone orders for drug administration shall be given only to a physician, licensed nurse, pharmacist or physician's assistant.
