Section 73349 - Pharmaceutical Service Requirements(a) Pharmaceutical service shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (1) Obtaining necessary drugs on a prompt and timely basis, including the availability of 24-hour emergency prescription service.(2) Preparation for administration of drugs and biologicals.(3) Monitoring the drug distribution system which includes ordering, dispensing and administration of medications.(4) Provision of consultative and other services furnished by pharmacists which assist in the development, coordination, supervision and review of the pharmaceutical services within the facility.Cal.
