Section 79309 - Medical Director(a) The medical director as well as the designated alternate shall be a physician with training and experience in the care and treatment of chemical dependencies.(b) The medical director, or in the absence of the medical director, the alternate physician shall be responsible for: (1) Final approval of patient screening and suitability for all services in the CDRH.(2) Admission of all patients.(3) Review of all drug therapy.Cal.
