(a) Skilled nursing care shall be available to each participant and shall include at least the following: (1) Initial and continuing assessment of the participant by the registered nurse in the multidisciplinary team and development of a written plan of care.(2) Administration of medications or monitoring of self-administration of medications by participants.(3) Supervision of personal care given by program aides.(4) Maintenance of a participant's health record which includes: (A) Signed quarterly progress notes from each member of the multidisciplinary team and outside consultants.(B) Records of medications and treatments administered.(C) Quarterly narrative nursing note, unless a participant's condition requires a more frequent note, indicating participant's progress toward achieving health goals.(5) Provision of emergency care, including arrangements for transportation.(6) Notification of the physician of any marked change in the participant's condition.(b) A licensed nurse shall be on duty during the hours the center offers basic services.(c) Nursing service space shall be provided for the treatment of participants.Cal.
