(a) Each corporation, company, partnership, or city or county government, which operates, establishes, manages, conducts or maintains an adult day health center or holds out, advertises or represents by any means that it does so, shall obtain a license from the Department.(b) The Department shall notify any center which provides adult day health care services without a license or special permit to cease and desist or to file an application for a license within 15 days of the date of notification by the Department.Cal.
