Section 69405.5 - Lactational or Transplacental Transfer(a) The lactational or transplacental transfer hazard trait is defined as the ability of a chemical substance to transfer from the mother's tissues into breast milk or across the placenta.(b) Evidence for lactational or transplacental transfer includes but is not limited to: measurement of the chemical substance in mother's milk or crossing the placenta into fetal circulation or the chemical substance possessing physical-chemical or pharmacokinetic properties associated with movement into mother's milk or across the placenta.Cal.
