(a) An applicant or holder of a technology certification may assert a claim of business confidentiality by following the procedures set forth in Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, section 66260.2. Information submitted to the Department pursuant to this chapter may be claimed as business confidential. Such a claim shall be asserted at the time of submission by stamping the words "confidential business information" on each page containing such information. If no claim is made at the time of submission, the Department may make the information available to the public without further notice to the applicant. If a claim of confidentiality is asserted, the information will be evaluated and treated in accordance with the procedures set forth in section 66260.2.(b) Claims of confidentiality for the name and address of any certification applicant will be denied.Cal.
